How can I portray the gradual loss of innocence as we grow older, and the transition from childhood simplicity to the complexities of adulthood?
Growing up is something we all experience, yet we rarely notice how much we change along the way. As we get older, the curiosity, freedom, and innocence we once had slowly begin to fade as we become more aware of the world around us. Through this series, I wanted to explore that transition and the emotions that come with it. I experimented with different compositions, techniques, and artistic styles to represent the contrast between childhood innocence and the realities of growing older. Each piece offers a different perspective on what it means to grow up, capturing both the beauty of childhood and the parts of ourselves we leave behind.
Not everything I make starts with a plan. My sketchbook is where I experiment, practice, and put down whatever comes to mind. It's a collection of quick observations, unfinished ideas, and little moments of creativity. Feel free to flip through.
Some things don't fit neatly into a single category, and that's part of the fun. Here's a mix of paintings, illustrations, and other creative experiments I've made along the way. Different styles, different ideas, and a little bit of everything.
