Art has been a major part of my life since I was a kid. As I grew older, I learned to appreciate art not only for its beauty, but for the impact it can have to an audience. In high school, my art grew into something so much more than just a hobby but also a way to express myself and dig deeper into my thoughts and feelings. Eventually, my interest in art and design extended past myself and towards leaving a positive impact on others.
I became interested in design and UI/UX in particular because it uses purposeful, creative decisions to make a beautiful product driven by empathy. While I still love creating for myself, I found so much purpose in being able to create something to empower someone else.
